While not a silver bullet for configuring Microsoft 365 Intune endpoint settings it a good step forward. Settings catalog makes is easy to find settings, is better at tri state settings and has better reporting experience.
Important!!!!! - if you are have a good working configuration for say... Bitlocker, don't go and create a settings catalog as your not doing yourself any favors.
There is access to new settings that you can't get in baselines or configuration profiles, there are now thousands of setting open to us and Microsoft are committed to adding more.
