I am an accomplished IT professional with over 25 year’s experience within the IT industry, specialising in solution design and implementation, and just being a geek!

Over the span of my career I have worked in a wide range of roles and for a number of internationally recognised organisations all over the world.

Technologies I have worked with include: Microsoft, AWS, Azure, IBM, HP, VMware, Cisco, Watchguard, Fortinet, Broadworks , Microsoft Teams voice services.

In 2007, after a stint spent in the UK, I returned to Auckland and established my own business. Over the period of twelve years, I grew the business through innovative solution design and strong partnerships with my customers until its eventual sale in June 2019.

I currently work in a senior engineering position at a leading New Zealand consulting company "The Instillery". I have been engrossed in Microsoft Modern Work solutions like Azure Virtual Desktop, endpoint management and security solutions including Intune and Microsoft Cloud App Security.

Like many other IT Geeks before me I have started a blog as a place for me to express opinions and record information that I think could be useful to others.
